The whole service is amazing and does everything very professional. We offer the young people we look after a nice warm feeling home and somewhere where they can feel safe and secure.
The management team are very supportive of the staff and as a result the staff retention is excellent here which I believe results in a more consistent level of care for the children.The children in our care are consistently supported to meet the challenges there lives are placing them in and understand the staff team are here to support and benefit them.
My first shadow shift was positive and I was welcomed by the senior member of staff who I was shadowing. I felt very comfortable and accepted in the home and was looking forward to continue work.
It is an excellent setting to help with transitioning to a long term placement, where there have been difficulties, such as missing episodes. I felt the home provided a great opportunity to reset and refocus.
The environment that the young people are in and the support given to them by all the staff and management team is outstanding.
We are very inclusive with all young people and staff, the managers door is always open.
I think we do extremely well promoting the importance of getting our young people into education. We provide a safe and positive environment, that helps to nurture and achieve positive outcomes.
