I joined New Reflexions as a Residential Support Worker in September 2024, with no prior experience working with young people with learning disabilities and behaviours. From the beginning, I was supported by an approachable team who were always happy to answer questions and help me learn in this new role. The job brings unfamiliar challenges, but it’s equally rewarding — especially getting to see the young people grow. I also appreciate the 2-days-on, 4-days-off shift pattern, which gives a good work-life balance.
